Memorial Day Weekend Trip to the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.

We had so much fun taking the girls to the zoo! Ava loves to just be in her stroller. She experienced her first metro ride to her first trip to the zoo!
At the zoo they have a line going accross the zoo where the orangatan monkeys can swing on. We got lucky, as we were leaving the monkey house these awesome monkeys decided to go accross! This was my highlight of the trip. The girls had a blast and did really well. Mariah loved the beavers and we got to see a giant panda take a giant poop right in front of us! How exciting!!

Mariah has had this pajama outift for 3 years and now it fits both of the girls!! Mariah was nice and finally passed down the outfit to her sister.

Our first ever Ferry RIde :)

Mariah and I went on our first ever Ferry Ride in White's Ferry, Virginia! We enjoyed our long 10 minute ride accross the river!

Mariah's first official school spirit outfit! We bought the outfit at her kindergarten orientation! She is so ready to go to school!

Mariah's favorite present was her new kitchen set and Ava loves it also! She tried to eat the food more then once! Mariah also got an apron, oven mitt and chef hat! She had a Chuck e Cheese party where Mimi was able to attend (my mom )She had an awesome birthday week! To top off the week she was taken to the circus by her Gigi and graddad where she got her face painted.

The morning of Mariah's birthday Mariah wanted cake for breakfast and so did her sister! Ava likes all food and I mean all food!! If we are eating anything she wants to know about it and she wants a bite!!
